John Njoroge and Wendy Glauser interviewed individuals that were tortured in safe houses by Ugandan security staff for various reasons. This article was written by John Njoroge. It gives a vivid picture of what the individual went through seen through his eyes and expressed in his own words. John Njoroge, together with his Managing Editor - Andrew Mwenda - and Editor - Charles Bichachi – were arrested for these works. They were charged with Sedition but later released and are still waiting a decision of the constitutional court over the law of sedition.
